Dr. James’s passion for dentistry began early in life. Having a mother who is a dental hygienist and other numerous family members involved in the dental field helped shape his career path significantly. Luckily, throughout his journey to become a dentist, he has always had a great support system. One of his biggest supporters is his wife, who is a dentist as well. The two may talk about dentistry a little too much, but they believe this is what they were meant to do.
Dr. James received a biology degree from Texas A&M University, Gig ‘Em! He then went to the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Since graduating, Dr. James has taken many continuing education courses. These include several implant courses, Enteral Sedation Level 1, Advanced Guided Tissue Regeneration, and 6 Month Smiles. He strongly believes that learning should never stop.
Dr. James is an active member of the following organizations:
One particular aspect of dentistry that is very important to Dr. James is being able to give back to the community. While at Texas A&M, he was involved in numerous community service outreach programs in which he was able to teach young children about the importance of dental health. He also participated in Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM) while in college and in dental school. TMOM is an organization that provides free dental care to communities in need. Dentistry has allowed Dr. James to give back to the community.
Dr. James is extremely looking forward to serving his community in The Woodlands, Spring, Tomball, and the surrounding areas. Dr. James takes pride in getting to know his patients.
“I have always been a people person, and I love meeting new people and listening to their story. Every person is unique, and I strive to make long term relationships with my patients.” – Dr. James
